Website visitors

Separate from the client work above, this website measures which pages are read. We use Google Analytics for that, and only after you agree.

What we collect, and why

Pages viewed, how you arrived, the country you are in, and the type of device. We use it for one purpose: to see which subjects are read, so we know what to write next. We do not build profiles, we do not advertise, and we do not sell or share this with anyone.

Only with your consent

Nothing is measured until you accept in the bar at the bottom of the page. Decline and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered on your own device for 180 days, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time:

Cookies and how long they last

With your consent, Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_G-8M8KCWY53L, which expire after two years. They distinguish one visitor from another; they carry no name, address or email.

Where the data goes

Google processes it on our behalf under its data processing terms, which can involve servers outside the European Union. Google Analytics shortens your IP address, and we have switched off the settings that feed advertising and other Google products.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable form. You can object to processing, and where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time with the button above. Write to start@vendor-mgt.com and we will usually answer within five working days, and in any case within the one month the law allows us. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
