Solutions Analyst, AI and Data
This role sits between the craft and the technology. We build the systems that read media files, place figures side by side and trace every finding back to a source line. You translate what a media specialist means into something a machine can do reliably, and you keep the outcome explainable.
What you'll do
- Capture the logic behind our analyses, together with the people who know the craft.
- Help build the reading and normalising of media documents.
- Make sure every outcome can be traced back to a document, a page or a line.
- Test that the system finds what it should find, and presents nothing that is not there.
- Think with us about what we do and do not automate.
What you bring
- Experience with data and with AI applications in practice, not only in theory.
- The ability to keep asking until you understand why an expert does something the way they do.
- Care: in our work, a wrong finding does more damage than a missed one.
- Affinity with media is a plus, not a requirement - the domain knowledge is in the house.

On pay: what we offer depends on what you bring and where you sit, so we set it per person rather than per band. Money comes up in the second conversation, with a real number, not a range you have to decode.
How it works: two conversations, both with the people you would actually work with, including the founder. The first is about you and about us. The second is about the work itself: we put an anonymised media file in front of you and talk through what you see. Terms follow that same round, once we both know what we are talking about. Then a decision, from us and from you. No panels, no assessments, no six-week silences.
Where you can be based: our team works from Amsterdam and from Jakarta, with room to work partly remotely. Our clients are worldwide, so for the right person we will look at other arrangements rather than rule them out.
On your application: everything you send us is treated the way we treat client documents: read by us, shared with no one, and used for nothing but this conversation. We read every application ourselves, and we get in touch when we see a fit. If you have not heard from us within two weeks, please take that as a no, with our thanks for the time you put in.
